James Weidman's Aperturistic Trio 
James Weidman is one of the most versatile pianists in the world of music. He has performed with the likes of Abbey Lincoln and Joe Lovano and plays classical and atonal music. With a player as talented as Weidman, it's no wonder the press used terms such as "unfailingly lyrical," "convivially assertive," and "exquisite" to describe him.

Saturday, July 8th
James Polsky's 4/4-24/7 Quartet
Led by drummer James Polsky, a lifelong jazz fan (who established the New York jazz club Jazz Standard in 1997), the 4/4-24/7 Quartet does just that: swing hard all the time!

Joshua Richman Duo
Joshua Richman has studied jazz with piano legends such as Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Barron, and classical piano with Gary Kirkpatrick. He is a two-time winner of the ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award. Along with leading the Joshua Richman Trio, he has been fortunate to have performed with distinguished artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Terell Stafford, Randy Brecker, and many more. Joshua is currently a faculty member at Temple University where he teaches classes and ensembles, and conducts master classes.

Ron Affif Trio
Ron Affif is an American jazz guitarist of mixed Lebanese and Italian origin. He is the son of boxing welterweight and middleweight Charley Zivic, who, as a jazz fan, initiated Affif into music. He is also the nephew of guitarist Ron Anthony who played with George Shearing and Frank Sinatra and who gave Affif his first guitar lesson when he was 12. Based in New York, he has gained a reputation for his personal approach to jazz.

Dario Boente Trio
Immersed in the culture of tango and Jazz, Argentine pianist and composer Dario Boente is a musician who is equally at home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano as he is programming world-beat electronica. Since moving to NYC in 1999, Dario has released ten albums and compilations and worked with world class jazz musicians such as Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, and Fernando Otero, and DJs such as Louie Vega and Kerri Chandler.

Fintan O'Neill Trio
Pianist and composer Fintan O’Neill’s musical training started early, as he came from a musical family in his native Ireland. After years of classical piano lessons, the young pianist plunged full-time into jazz studies and performance. By 1987, he was a prize winner in the Jazz Piano category in the Dublin Music Festival Competition and began playing with the top Irish Jazz musicians in the city. Late in 1989, Fintan moved to New York City and has been playing on the New York scene with its top players ever since.

Friday, July 28th
Jon Davis Trio
Pianist and composer Jon Davis has been performing and touring with the world's finest jazz musicians for over 25 years and has appeared on more than 50 recordings. Most widely known for his association with legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius, Davis has shown a rare versatility that ranges from solo to big band. He has performed with such artists as the John Handy Quartet, Johnny Coles, Buddy Montgomery, as well as jazz legends Joe Henderson, Milt Jackson, and Stan Getz.

Saturday, July 29th
Ryo Sasaki Trio
Born in Tokyo, Ryo Sasaki started playing trumpet at the age of 15. In the late '90s, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He studied privately with Darren Barrett, Tiger Okoshi, and Charlie Lewis before returning to Tokyo where he played professionally and taught trumpet. He moved to New York in 2006 and has played many venues, including The Blue Note, St. Nick's Pub, Minton's Playhouse, and the Cotton club.
