Droves of dancing divas and glitzy socialites were whisked away for a night of unabashed party bliss as we celebrated the grand, grand opening of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. That’s right, we stepped into the future and made it official with the likes of Dita von Teese, Diplo, and Onyx Collective by our side.
More than a few fabulous friends flew in and brought grandeur to our grand opening. The champagne was flowing, the hors d'oeuvres divine, and the retro-futuristic attire stunned and surprised. Here are a few of our favorite moments from a night we won’t soon forget.
Dita von Teese, the queen of burlesque herself, showed us what it means to be a bona fide fashion icon.
Diplo (yes, the one you know) stole the show and turned up the volume.We brought back the 90s with hip-hop throwbacks by Stretch Armstrong and Rich Medina at The Parlor.
It was an easy, breezy, beautiful vibe at The Pool with contemporary jazz by Onyx Collective and beats by Musclecars.
We got up close and personal with Hollywood stars from Jodie O'Keefe, Lewis Tan, Fiona Xie and more.
Our guest-list kept glowing with top designers & artists from our very own Jaime Hayon to Waris Ahluwalia.
We woke up the next day with a smile.
