Don’t feel like hiding your lukewarm wine in brown paper bags while munching on a sweaty cheese plate during a picnic at one of NYC’s many parks this summer? Don’t worry, The Standard, East Village has got you covered.
For the entire summer, The Garden at The Standard, East
Village has been transformed into a surreal dreamscape filled with topiaries—think
Edward Scissorhand—by Opiary Studio and so many refreshments you don’t ever
have to leave.
Did you say frose? We got you. Want a fresh popsicle to cool down from a day of trotting through the piping hot city? We’ve got plenty. Or are you looking for that high-end glamping experience without actually leaving the city? Try chef Max Blachman-Gentile’s unique bread accompanied by charcuterie and a selection of (non-sweaty) cheeses or a whimsical take on afternoon tea while lounging in the lush garden.
Of course, we also have your summer essentials: ice cold beer, a delicious selection of wine and, obviously, spritzes and fruity cocktails.
