Pioneering video and new media artist Diana Thater has long been fixated on our environment, but perhaps never this cosmically. Her latest exhibition at David Zwirner is deeply immersive, incorporating a free-standing, enclosed viewing box lit from below and a ceiling screen to explore the world of the humble dung beetle, which goes to great lengths to dispose of its waste, all while navigating by the Milky Way.
