SPLIT-STAY TRAVEL
BEFORE YOU BOOK
While the Ministry of Tourism permits split stay travel within the Maldives, we have decided to temporarily prohibit all split stay arrivals at our resort. This additional precautionary measure is implemented as part of our The Standard of Health & Safety Protocols to keep our guests and team members safe and prevent the spread of COVID.
At this time, we are only able to welcome guests arriving directly from their international arrival flights to our resort.
However, guests will be able to depart from our resort to another resort or island, subject to their conditions.
THE PROCEDURES
HOW IT'S GONNA GO
- As per the announcement made by Health Protection Agency (HPA), PCR tests are no longer required for entry into the Maldives.
- An online form needs to be filled out within 72 hours prior to your arrival to the Maldives
- Masks and other travel precautions must be worn at the Male airport and with your transfer. See TMA Seaplane information on their procedures here
- Please contact us with your arrival airline and flight number so we can arrange your transfer to the resort
- Rooms cleaned, sanitized, and sealed before guest arrival
- Daily room service and nightly turndown is now available but if you prefer to not be bothered, just let us know with a "Do Not Disturb" sign
- Our team will use cleaning products and protocols which align with CDC, EPA and HPA Government guidelines, are approved for use and effectively fight against viruses, bacteria and other air and blood-borne pathogens on all equipment and surfaces, in every space of the hotel
- Extra cleaning and sanitizing of public or frequent contact spaces. This includes the front desk, entrance doors and handrails, public bathrooms, dining surfaces and seating areas
- Our team will continue to explore additional sanitation tools, including UV-C light and sanitation spray, and stay abreast of all new developments regarding the most effective methods and products to employ
- Where possible, doors and windows will remain open to increase fresh air flow
